This is the smaller version of the 4500. It’s design and shape are identical, with the exception of a slightly smaller body. The main advantage of running this machine is its ability to operate with any standard flow mini skid steer.Because it doesn’t require a high flow host machine, you can fit it into smaller spaces. As with its larger counterpart, the Power Planer 3000 is used primarily for flattening & planning concrete. The Planer 3000 is also accurate to within 1/32th of an inch and can cut as deep as ½ inch in a single pass.It was built to flatten concrete floors quickly, and will also quickly remove paint, cut through epoxy coatings (like trowel down), thin mill coatings, and cut down reinforced concrete up to 20,000 psi. When cutting ¼” deep, average production rates of 2,000 to 3,000 square feet per hour should be expected. This unit is perfect for flattening or smoothing out rough concrete, and for grinding down trip fall hazards. The Planer can be set to remove a coating as thin as 1/32nd of an inch. When run with the Edger Kit, the Planer will cut your floor flat all the way up to the wall. The Power Planer 3000 will run on any standard flow mini skid steers with a minimum of 13gpm.Leaves a smooth flat profile on the floor comparable to that of a 6 grit diamond, and can be run with diamonds from 6 grit up to 330 grit for quick grinding or prepping of a surface for polishing. Dust free operation is built in and easy to use, when run with the Pulse-Vac LD. |
